Ms. Robin Perry holds Bachelor of Science, Master of Arts, and Specialist in Education degrees from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tennessee. She has served the students of Cumberland County as a teacher, assistant principal, and coach before becoming the principal of Homestead Elementary School in 2007. She has received Model and Master Reading Classroom, Coordinator and School awards, Crossville Chronicle's Teacher of the Year, and was featured in the Exemplary Educator's journal. Ms. Perry is a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, National/State International Reading Association, National Educators of America, National Association of Elementary School Principals, and the Association for Supervision/Curriculum Development. Homestead Elementary School is ranked in the top ten percent of Tennessee schools.

Mr. Kelly Averitt attended Castle Heights Military Academy in Lebanon, Tennessee from 1975-1983. He then attended Tennessee Tech University on a football scholarship from 1983 thru 1988. He signed a professional football contract in the NFL with the New York Jets in 1988. He returned to Tennessee Tech to finished his Bachelor's degree in 1993. He graduated in 2000 with a Masters Degree in Special Education and in 2001 with a Specialist in Education. He has 16 years experience in Special Education in both Wilson and Rutherford counties, two years administrative experience at the elementary level in Overton County, and two years in the regular education classroom. He is married with two boys, 7 and 9, a 24 year old daughter, and a 3 year old grandson.
